CLAY CLUB

Palm Bay Primary School, Margate

I ran a weekly afterschool Clay Club for years 5 and 6 pupils and teachers in the art cabin at Palm Bay Primary School. These were begun as a way to inspire connectivity and confidence after covid. In four week blocks, the children tried a variety of hand-building techniques around different themes and using various tools, with the opportunity to glaze and fire their work to take home and exhibit around the school.
