Experiments in Fire & Clay
Joseph Schneider invited Alice Wakefield and I to run two weekend workshops utilising clay from the site of Rural Art Hub, Shropshire.
Over the first weekend, we processed the clay into slip, made tiles, and built a small wood kiln to fire them in.
The following month we fired up the kiln and cleaned up the results, ready to be installed around the hub.
